2010 in music: CK’s Second Quarterly Report

Here we go again! It’s now officially halfway through the year 2010. TK is busy hiking the Pacific Coast Trail, so I’m holding down CKTK duties while he’s gone. During the first half of this year, we officially launched our Facebook and Twitter accounts. Check those out for more frequent updates. Also, I just launched a new project, called The Indie Rock Alphabet. It’s exactly what it sounds like. Check it for one or two great songs each day.

You can check out our reviews from the end of March here (CK) and here (TK). This post will differ from last quarter’s reports because Apple decided to unceremoniously dump Lala back in May. As you probably know, that’s how we linked you to full album streams of new releases. This time around, I’ll be posting links to a YouTube video or two for each record in the top couple of tiers. It’s a way to highlight some of the greatness out there; if you want the rest of the record, I guess you’ll have to dig around for it. Our post-millennial lives are so difficult.

Now: Let's build a top ten list, shall we?
